Common questions
The short answers.
Why two prices — Team and Project?
Because they scale on different things. Team scales with how often your humans talk to Kixo (tokens, seats). Project scales with how much traffic your app sends in (MAU, events). Splitting them keeps the bill predictable as either side grows.
What counts as a token?
Roughly one substantive agent answer or one shipped action. Reading a dashboard you already built is free.
What happens if I exceed my MAU or events?
Nothing breaks. Overage is metered and billed at the next tier's unit price. We notify you at 80% and 100% so you can choose to upgrade.
Can I run multiple projects on the same Team plan?
Yes. Team seats and tokens are organization-wide. Each project carries its own MAU/events plan.
Where is my data stored?
By default, US (AWS us-east-1). EU residency (eu-central-1) is available on Business and Enterprise plans. Custom regions and self-hosted options ship under Enterprise.
GDPR, DPA, security?
Yes. We sign DPAs on every paid plan, support SCCs for international transfers, and run encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). SOC 2 Type II is in progress — write security@kixo.io for the latest report.
Refunds & cancellation?
Cancel any time from the workspace. We refund unused months on annual plans, prorated.
